Update on new compressor. Had a chance to run it before the rain rolled in, got to 150psi before I turned it off and y'all who come for frame spraying will appreciate how much quieter this guy is. It's covered for 5 years as well.

congrats on the new compressor. That one will definitely be better for what you’re doing. It doesn’t have to work as hard as the little one did.
Do you spray at full pressure, or do you regulate it down? I imagine you spray at like 60psi?

Don't have any interior pictures at the moment, can grab one in the morning when it's light out. Traded in the tacoma, unfortunately.

How did the value hold up?

Different vibe, but I can't hate it, whenever I build one online it looks pretty similar! If I didn't frequently use my bed I might be more willing to do something like that.

3.6L V6. I didn't want the 2.0L, didn't even test drive one. Granted, there aren't many 2.0 with the options I was looking for on the lots right now and there isn't a ton of inventory in general because of the plants closing.

I probably could have done a little better on the trade if I shopped around, but it was in the ballpark I was looking for.

I hardly used my bed and this fits more of our lifestyle right now. I wanted the Rubicon but a semi-base rubicon. Only options are LED lights and cold weather stuff (heated seats/ steering wheel). I didn't want any of the safety stuff.

I want to hit the like button... TW just won’t let me. I might have to reach out to tCBob about it, must be a glitch. I promise it has nothing to do with the vehicle selection, I swear! I do like the color though. I think that’s the same thing Boston Billy got.

    sweet. So October/November? :D

If we stick in my house I’ll probably get something similar. Maybe a bigger tank though because I’ll run shop air to my garage. Set up the compressor in the crawl space maybe.

sweet! I’m jealous. I’ve talked about wanting a wrangler on here before. As a woods basher. That ones nicer than I’d be looking for but a 2D gasser is probably where I’ll land!

Says the guy that hasn't had a tacoma in the however long I've been on TW o_O. Jokes aside, I know it's not a popular option around here, but oh well, my life my decisions. I like the people around here though so I'll be sticking around. Haven't been on much lately, work has been insane with all this shit going on

I feel like there should be a former Tacoma owners support group. :stirthepot:

Yeah... I think at this point, i’ve been here longer without a Tacoma than with... :anonymous:
That’s pretty much what the BS threads are. I’m obviously still on TW but stick to the BS thread and the off topic stuff. Much more fun here than the Ferd forums. Speaking of, i’m trying to get some Raptor owners all fired up over there. Those flat billers are pretty easy to get all puffed up. All you have to say is something is as or more capable than their overpriced F150 and watch the fireworks. :D

I want a raptor but not unless I live in the desert. For the desert there’s nothing better from the factory. Power and suspension. A Tacoma can be built up on suspension but doesn’t have the power that makes desert running fun. But around here in Jeep trails they’re just
Lumbering brutes our of their element.

I still want one but I probably won’t get one, doesn’t make sense for me, even less than a Tacoma did.

Anyone been to the Attleboro and wrentham dog parks before? Been cooped up here for a while and thinking I’m going to head up that way today. Bit of a further drive and there’s 3 dog parks closer than that to me, but checking out new things :D

Looks almost identical to my Craftsman Professional 175 PSI. Wouldn't be surprised if they are made by the same company and just rebranded. Mine has been good and I love how quiet it is compared to my little pancake one.

TW is an enjoyable place to hang around. It’s the people that make it that, not the vehicles (maybe)

Got the truck washed, clayed, sealed and waxed this morning. I washed it last night before the rain to get the heavy crap off, washed again this morning then began the process. Porter Cable DA polisher made the cutting process a lot easier. The truck was definitely put to work before I got it and had a lot of little (some deep) scratches. I took care of a lot of them but the deeper ones I wasn’t comfortable cutting that aggressively to fix. I’ll get a paint kit and fix those later. Truck’s surface is like glass now!

I used Meguiars soap, Chemical Guys clay kit (it’s a foam backed kit, wasn’t a huge fan and prefer regular clay), Chenical Guys Scratch and Swirl remover with a medium cut pad, Chemical Guys Hydro Slick applied by hand and topped with Chemical Guys V07 nano spray sealant. Obviously a trend with the products I bought... We’ll see how long it all lasts.
