Mine was at 20. Fat lot of good that would have done me.

With OBA, I tend to leave it to once a year when I lube up the chain system that lowers the spare.

Back when all my TPMS sensors worked, I checked it about once a year.
As the light usually came one on the coldest of days. I never “topped off” or checked the spare like I did the other 4.

Now my TPMS light is on all time. But I do still try to check it regularly.
Mainly because my tires are older and have over 74k on them. Plus I am towing more often.

    Anyways, good post!
We all could use a reminder:thumbsup:

After driving towtruck for a couple years when I was younger and finding out that over half the people that got flats on the side of the freeway where carrying flat spare tires as well, i started checking mine every couple months.

I check mine in the fall when I fluid film the undercarriage.

I also carry a small air compressor so I can air up a tire if needed.

You are correct about that. I’ll be more diligent in the future. Mine was the original spare with a rubber valve stem so no TPMS. I also checked Mrs. xaircav’s Corolla spare so I don’t get this look again.476C5902-55EF-4203-BEDA-8A3B06430173.jpg

Thanks for reminding me. I normally check it about once per year, but I think it's been over a year since I last checked it.

I try to check it once a year but usually forget and have only checked it 3 times in the 10 years I’ve owned my truck

About every 5,000 miles. I get free tire rotation and they check the air.

Then I re-check because they often over fill them. :annoyed: Found 40lbs once.:burp:

Need to check mine as well, but I do carry a Viar portable compressor in my rear under seat storage.

Every time I look at the dash, because my spare has a TPMS.
