Omg... not 10 miles long with the nearest hospital 80 miles away! That must’ve been so scary. If you didn’t have your location, I’d assume you were a hipster from the city.

I bought a Tacoma because my driveway in winter is worse than the road in the OP's pic. It replaced a nice '06 Volvo XC70 AWD that could only get up an iced up, then sanded driveway, if I put on chains.

Give R1/Kahinahina a try. 37 miles of slow going high altitude driving. Don’t do it on your own and make sure u have good supplies to make it an over night trip if needed. Right around 19 mm you may want to turn around... great drive with insane views on a clear day...

There's this thing in writing called context. It is established usually with the title and in the first paragraph. When you open up with "ever seen a trail like this" and proceed to request contributions of "gnarly" trails it follows logically that any supporting documentation of photographic evidence will follow a similar pattern.

btw. My parents live in Kona, there's plenty of "gnarly" trails on the big island that take you to some pretty secluded beaches that I wouldn't attempt without a serious 4x4 rig.

True story. The guy that goes to the same brewery as me drives a ridgeline. He installed bull bar and said it rubs in the front when going over speed bumps now. I said to him "but why?" He goes, "well i wanted to make it look like a truck". I just shook my head.

He is a cool dude actually and always admires my taco. Never got a proper answer as to why he bought a honda ridgeline though.

Oh i see whats happening here. The brewery is like 5 min from my house and its cheap. The growler fills also tastes better. I prefer lagers and pilsners, so normal beerz.
I definetily dont fall in the hipster type, ha!
