I am of no personal help regarding what you are looking for but regarding the search function here I find it a bit hit or miss. I like using Google or your favorite search engine with your search terms then adding tacomaworld.com to the search terms. Usually the first listing has a link near the bottom for similar results on “tacomaworld.com” that does a pretty good job finding threads. Also check the buy/sell/trade section for stuff.

Washed and waxed my truck for the first time since buying it, only two years overdue!

I thought the frame rust issues were resolved prior to Gen 2.5s? I bought my 2015 this past December frame looks great tho

I’m thinking this is preventative.... maybe. They are only going to treat and coat the frame if it’s in good shape

Shovel mount, I’ll probably cut off the excess aluminum strip below the two mounts and hit it with self etching primer and matte black.

I bent back the extra aluminum against the inside of the bed to give it some support and keep it from bouncing.

Great idea, what did you use to bend the aluminum?

You could also do like I did on my traction board mounts and install felt glides near the bottom. 1/4" hole with a nut on both sides to keep them secure. The felt will eventually wear off but it helps keep them from bouncing around as much. Less than $5 for a pack of 4 at home Depot.

You can see them at the bottom of both legs in this photo.

I made that last panel but there's more to do on it. This has been a time consuming project. Hopefully it will pay off in its results. Ported at 32 Hz (hopefully).

The port fires into a wall and exits out a horn shape (eventually) right above the floor underneath the slightly raised rear seat bottom.
