Tinted the front emblem on my 2020 Sr. Yes the radar is behind it and I don't foresee any issues.

Tint film is "VViViD Air-Tint - Light Smoke". Was like 12 bucks for a 12" x 48" roll from Amazon. You don't actually have to remove any parts, just laid it on there and smoothed it with my vinyl squeegee. Then trim, run the squeegee around the edge and it sits in perfect. Took me like 100 seconds

Next up, black headlights and this thing will be pretty much blacked out

Cool. IIRC, Some company sells a kit for this and they tested it, no issues.

I did mine with 2 coats of VHT Nightshades and cleared over it. Certainly toned down the chrome in the emblem. That's one of those "Why didn't Toyota do this from the get go?" questions.

This is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.

I've seen some pretty cool trucks with blacked out badges and grills but the front emblem stood out like a sore thumb because it was still chrome.

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.
Need a pic showing the whole front end to go with the close up. Look great in my book.

My favorite grill was the Xtec designs black grill but I managed to get an authentic TRD Pro grill for a lot cheaper than that one so I bought it.

+1 on the Xtrek. Love mine, and wish he kept it going, looks like he kinda fell off the map. Really had something going.

Yup, looks he is no longer making them. I would have picked one up if they were cheaper than the authentic pro grills.

Nice I’ll be doing the same with the hex tint. Post up the headlight when you do it. I’m curious how you are going to work that damn near 90 degree angle.
