Was a joke me and Dan did year or so ago

 

Money refunded this morning, minus the $10 transfer fee from Venmo to my bank originally.

Guy is a douchebag. First he claims to have found similar or better bikes on a racers forum for cheaper and he had buyers remorse. I happen to be on the same forum and did a search, finding nothing that he claimed. Called him on it and asked for links to the bikes. He refused, saying he didn't have to prove anything. Then comes back saying he had sudden personal issues come up and just didn't want the bike. Fuck that guy. Told him his problems aren't mine, we had a deal, done and paid for and he had reneged on the deal, basically screwing me over. If he was local, I would have told him to fuck off. But since I still have the bike and I'm a decent person, I refunded him.

 

So. The green house on my uncles property is actually one of 2 sears catalog houses in the town. Restored the little house is worth quite a bit of money.
It’s actually a really nice solid building, the floors have sagged over the years, but that’s to be expected. All in all it’s a solid house.

That sucks. I mean I understand a lot of people right now are in trouble financially and many are finding they have a good job one day and are unemployed the next. But you guys had a deal, the least he could have done was be up front with you about it and not come up with a lie. I admire your restraint lol.

I've seen this in Colonial Place Norfolk VA. Lots were 50' wide and many Sears kits. The wealthiest people bought adjoining lots and overbuilt for the neighborhood. I had an American four square but don't know it's kit name. Very comfortable homes.
