Im looking at lightening up some things ln my truck soon. Lighter roof rack, hybrid front bumper, might ditch the swing out and mount the spare in the bed now that i have the trailer i can afford to loose the bed space. This will be over the next year or so.

Very likely they’re using his software or have reverse engineered his stuff. Nobody ever tuned our trucks besides him as far as I know. He released vf tuner pro so other people can use his software to tune Toyota vehicles so my guess is they’re using what he has released already.

Whenever you’re ready. I’m spending every weekend on lake since we just purchased 2 new 2020 seadoos. Kids wanting to go again today but wife wanted to lounge around pool today. So we’re at home instead. Just got out of pool myself.

I started feeling the weight after I installed this SOS bumper. With full steel skids and sliders, it was a minimal notice
I’m going hybrid for a front bumper for sure. Then I’ll upgrade to some adjustable coil overs to compensate for the weight up front. Within the next year or so for me too.

They’ll not be hitting saltwater without me there :). Improperly cared for while in and out of saltwater could ruin them quickly.

There’s zero doubt we’ll be at lake unless it’s raining. Much as these things cost they’re getting used! Just message me when you’re ready. Best thing to do is text me though as I go 2/3 days at times without opening tacomaworld anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, this page isn’t bad but there are some different breeds on this forum that make me not wanna ever login here. You can’t even ask an honest question anywhere without being ran over with useless sarcastic comments. It’s text and it’s online but I still don’t care for people like that.

We rent from wahoo watersports every year. Seems easier and more economical than buying and selling every summer. Wish we had the room for storage! But I agree saltwater can damage them quickly.

Animal control, prefer the look of them, and they help protect the headlights when on overgrown trails and just in general

Touchy subject in this forum. I think I’m the only one running aluminum skids. I have 1/4” thick reinforced Mobtowns and they have held up well to some pretty hard wheeling and kept 40 lbs off the nose of the truck. You don’t want to have a vertical impact on a sharp rock but dragging them over stuff is fine.
Maybe a good compromise would be to run aluminum front and trans skids with a steel transfer case skid since it sees the most action. You’d just need to coat them or put something between them to prevent dissimilar metals causing rust issues.
