That's probably playing a large role. i'm now really glad I already had a kayak/stuff to use outside. my friend has been looking for a kayak for a month and can't find anything.

Honestly I don’t think they are. We rode in high 80’s with 70% humidity and they weren’t hot at all. When you stop moving you will notice some heat. But as soon as you start moving again your knees cool off. They have vent holes in them that you can feel the breeze coming in. And once the ride is over and you take them off my knees are actually dry. The pads are a litt sweaty but my skin was dry. That was even after a decent creek crossing where the rest of me got wet.

Good info, thanks! Might have to give them a shot! My shins are already jacked up from pedal whacks, but I'd rather avoid any more now that I'm getting a little faster and a little more air time (although I still prolly don't have the skill to back any of it up, LOL)

    not enough.
I ride with g-forms. I keep them around my ankles while i'm climbing and then put them over my knees for the actual downhill. I've had them on for some desert riding and climbing and honestly, they're really comfortable. sometimes I forget they're there and they've saved my knees on a number of occasions. As far as heat goes, I feel like they get a little warm but the material is pretty breathable so I have no complaints. your mileage may vary though.

I'm using ion k-traze knee pads for my every day rides. i love em. they stay in place, are comfortable when pedaling and provide plenty of protection. never ridden the g-forms but I'm always hesitant about pads sliding with out some form of a strap.

D3EBAE56-E60C-46C9-9D9B-1DC554A500D5.jpg Rode Skypark bike park today. All bright color bikes took a good fall today. Trying rail wooden berms right after a mud puddle is not a good idea. lol

I have that fork mount in my slide out tray. It'll work with whatever holds your wheel to your fork, assuming you but the right size (I.e. 15x110)

I always see the little pig tails that form afterwards but never actually been stopped to see wet sealant shooting through

Shell Ridge. Can leave from home to get there and Lime Ridge so it’s a very frequent spot

I ended up buying the mount without the quick release. I was hoping I could go with a quick release mount but I did not think it would on a fork with a bolt. Did I buy the right thing??

Yea, you did. You could get a quick release for that thru axle size, but you'd have to buy it separately for like $60. I assume that defeats the purpose of buying a cheap fork mount.

Any ideas of how to clean/wash the inside of a FF helmet?

    can you remove the padding?

remove padding, soak in warm soapy water, run it under water to get all of the soapy water out, let it air dry. Clean the inside Of the helmet with warm soapy water as well, rinse and let air dry. Wipe out with a damp cloth to remove any spots or soap that seeps out during drying. Replace pads and go
