Guys I’m doing a front and rear mild lift on my 1st gen. I ordered longer ubolts for my add a leaf kit and they got lost. Do I need longer ones for sure or can I get by with the stock ones? It’s a toytec 2in add a leaf. Thanks for any help.

I did a single add a leaf and reused the stock one fine.

A single add-a-leaf will add under 1/4 inch. Do you have 1/4 inch to spare? Generally Ubolts should be replaced.

The ones they told me to order were 6.75inch. So just a little longer. I won’t know if I have extra length till I do the install. Main reason I was asking if anyone else had tried it.

Lol, according to the wife I told her to go ahead and throw the box away that they were in. Which was a small box in a larger box. I’ll leave it at that lol.

Order more. You will need them. Just did the toytec aal last month. You should def get new & longer u bolts. That’s common wifey stuff. I’m taking my wife fishing next week. Did I buy extra lures, yep. Cause she’s gonna lose’em.

Long story but I just got around to installing my add a leaf. Got the pass side done after a little bit of trouble however now I’m on driver side and I can’t seem to get the axel low enough to get the center pin in. The soft brake line is maxed out and it’s nowhere close to going in. Do I need to un bolt the brake line brackets off the axel? I fig that could give me a extra bit of slack.

Yeah you need to unbolt the rear brake line.
