I always call ahead to see if the person in charge of hiring is present. When I would do that at Costco, it’d piss me off cause I’d get the green light that the hiring manager was present at the store, then I’d get there and he’d magically vanish... totally avoiding me what a bitch

 

Sucks is when they dont have the balls to tell you that you arent hired. At least send an email says you werent hired instead of playing phone games.

 

That's most people in HR. They're pussies.

 

I used to have a boss that would do that exact same thing. He was a dick, but it's good that they know you're really interested.

The physical doesn’t bother me one bit. It’s the hours I’ll be working if hired. The only shift available is the Sunrise shift so that’s from 4:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Pay should be my desired $10 or even more per hour too

Develop a skill, it's more important than a degree, IMO. Certain skills can get you the big bucks through good work and aggressive promotion, others can pay your way through college for a good STEM degree while giving you associated experience related to the field of your degree without being a dumbass who interns and works for free.

 

Dude I’m not even sure I’m going to finish the bachelors degree for that exact same reason. The Navy is really tempting
