    Is this to have a plug connector for when removing the tailgate… similar to the camera plug included in the glovebox?

    if so I have said connectors, it’s listed somewhere on this forum or I’ll take a look at the ones I have tomorrow. I believe 1 was oem and the other I found another source because it was back ordered with no date

    I have the tailgate lock kit and a topper lock kit that I am hoping to just tie together at this connector if I can. I can always use a metripack connector or something, but figured if I could just get this connector I could make a splice with it.

    You could get a 2nd Gen or Tundra tail light harness, it has 6 spaces. Uses same terminals already in the connector for the camera and the OEM tailgate lock.

    I was planning on that. Was going to use Delphi connectors. That kit you posted is a pretty good price for AMP superseals though so I've book marked it for future reference. I just wanted to update this thread with the part number in case 5 years from now someone is googling it, they will at least get an answer. I'm just odd like that.

    I am. A Pop & Lock
    $215 PL9555 Keyless Remote Entry Kit (with Handle), Black
    PL9555. I am also adding the OEM tailgate lock mentioned above. Since the tailgate lock uses this connector toward the rear, I am going to just tie the topper lock in there. Just going to make a small male/female tap to feed the PL9555 for the OEM tailgate lock harness. If you plan on doing something like this, RED is LOCK, GREEN is UNLOCK just FYI

    Thanks for the excellent information. I need to figure out how to make a solenoid setup work on my topper. It's an ARE MX. It has a single locking handle and two rods. It seems like it would require too much force to mount a single solenoid to push those. I'm thinking I may need two mounted to the cap frame. Or I could probably make something like this work too
