The way I've seen it is large corps usually have great benefits, but tons of regulations. Small "mom and pops" have poor benefits, but little regulations. The "holy grail" would be great benefits and little regulation. I've worked for three of the largest businesses of their type respectively, and a municipality, and the benefits were always great with regulation up the yang. Never found the "holy grail".

 

The freight company that my dad works for is a holy grail then. Pay and benefits are excellent and they have tons of regulations, but they aren’t really enforced

 

That's great. Just a bit hard to find.

 

Where do you work now if you don’t mind me asking

 

I take care of my dad, who is handicapped due to stroke and amputations due to diabetes. Previously a crematory manager in Las Vegas for ten years.

I watched another one my son last night. Act Of Valor. Pretty good lower budget movie. Had a really sweet Seal SWCC scene. One of those make your testosterone jump kinda scenes.

Had a friend who worked for DHL from
Like 18 to the point he retired in his late 30s. Made really good money had a retirement pension from DHL then got a job as a mortgage broker after that. Didn’t work real hard and had two good incomes.
