Before you buy the bolts and what not send me a list of what you’re getting. I ordered a crap ton of stuff I ended up not needing. And I may still have some stuff in my building. Doing the add delete is gonna also save you some headache in the long run too. If it helps I ordered all my hardware from toyotapartsdeal.com

SO I bought most everything i could think of, including all of the fj add tube delete parts. I also ordered from them. As of now this is what I have left off the top of my head:

    Front & rear driveshafts
    Front diff
    Both front diff mounts
    CV axles shafts
    4x4 hub assemblies

Yeah those are are necessary but I’m talking the nuts and bolts. Mainly the bolts to connect the tc to trans, the bolts and nuts, washers, dampeners and stuff for the front our trucks don’t come with. I probably spent 150.00 on hardware and didn’t need half of it after I got in there. If you’re getting new front diff and rear from ecgs you’ll need the arms to bolt to the front crossmember and diff.

yeah just the bolts and brother lines cost me around $300. Make sure the front diff comes with the 2 attachment arms. Those 2 mounting arms alone cost around $200 for both. If you can find a front diff with that attached it will safe you some money.

Hey Adam, I was just checking out Craigslist. There are many 2nd gen tacomas for part-out in the Culpeper area. Have you checked these out yet?

I did this conversion a couple of years ago on my Prerunner. It was a fun experience. I even got the the 4wd/4lo lights to work on the dash with the FJ tcase. Yes, the Prerunner instrument clusters have the lights there, they're just not hooked up to anything. PM me when you get to that part and I'll show you how to do it if you dont already know.

I’ve heard that before idk why they do that. Check out Culpeper salvage I wouldn’t bother with the salvage place on 229 Phoenix or something they are stupid high. There is a huge salvage yard but here which is where I think the adds come from but not open to the public. I’m believe Nick got something from them a rear diff maybe idk he’s has broken so much stuff it’s hard to keep track

SO I realized that i dont have the bolts for the front driveshaft. And are the bolts for the 2wd tranny mount the same as the 4wd?

NICE! I def would love the guidance. I am good with electrical but not needing to figure it out would be great!
