    Im ready for more. Just finished getting the cab dried/cleaned out. Removed all the sound proofing, that shit holds water...I dont think it would ever dry out. However, should prolly get a snorkle and starter only works every once in awhile lol.

    I nominate @OrangeTaco101 to be added to that list. He flooded his truck 2 weeks ago.

    @OrangeTaco101 "Doesn't look that deep"

    This list could get out of hand.

    Mostly stock for now...
    Interesting how things change as you get older (wiser ?) 20 yrs ago I would have swam back and forth in my Samurai - of course it had no electronics and a wash and wear interior... My Taco still smells clean and is way more comfortable on a long highway drive... :bananadance:

    with the newly added weight of the backrack, i probably should think about the bed stiffeners now that i have 2 cross bars in use.
    any recommendations?
    i know V4x4, Total chaos, and caliraised have theirs - but was looking at this AthFab one. I prefer that tie-down bit to point towards the back of the truck so i can keep my shovel where it's at
    https://athfab.com/product/bedside-reinforcements-tie-downs-for-05-17-toyota-tacoma/

    Also need a 42 inch lightbar for the backrack :D

    Your crossbars probably stiffen the bedsides more than the stiffeners can...

    the cross bars have play in them, they jiggle around a bunch.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9VXfan_hoo

    sort of thinking to prevent this since there is play in my system (which needs to exist so i can actually remove the cross bars with 1 person)
    upload_2020-6-8_14-11-55.jpg
    i guess preventative maintenance
    :notsure:

    I'm surprised there isn't a rubber replacement for the carpet. And a non-absorbing insulation would be a good idea too I think!

    That's neat! I'd rather have that than the carpet. Any idea on the price?
