Thanks for this info, I did the same today. If you wouldn’t have posted it I would’ve ended up with the mic attached to the visor.

I don’t. I just did like OP said and routed the wire under the weather stripping on the driver side then under the headliner, out of the over head console. I popped the OE mic out then used double sided tape to secure the mic that came with the radio in its place.

Does anyone have pictures of how much you are removing from the current bezel to make it flush? Just ordered mine. It arrives Wednesday, but the maestro doesn't arrive for a couple of week. going to rough just starring at a box.

If you have a premium or JBL factory radio you are removing nothing. It's a decent fit but not perfect. I believe I'm the only one who has milled a standard bezel to get a better fit. It's not an easy task and you have to remove quite a bit.

What did you use? Dremel, routing table? Just curious what I'm in for. BTW, nice work on yours. It looks great!

To anyone that installed the DMH-WT7600NEX could you please post a side shot of the unit with either OEM brackets or whatever dash kit brackets that you installed? This would save a ton of time when assembling the unit for install!
    Thanks!!

I can confirm that the Entune Premium bezel works with the 6600. You will have a gap of less than 1mm all the way around the screen

I don't think anyone is doing the 7600. May want to return it and get the 6600. 7600 is the floating screen version. A couple pages back is a picture and explanation of how to mount it to get it flush.

The 7600 is able to bolt together like the 6600. So it shows on the unboxing video. Also same size width and height as the bezel. I guess I'll be the guinea pig. lol Does the 6600 have gps?

I think they are identical except the 6600 lacks the bracketry needed to use it as a floating display. The 7600 costs $100 more for the extra bracketry.
