I found my issue is the dome switch itself not the light or internal housing. I only use my map light location switch to control everything. Had the issue before ever upgrading the light so I knew it wasn’t the lights itself, but is a poor switch.
Might not be everyone’s issue but a variable to look at.

It’s not turning ON again. :( My truck is not a daily driver. Only use it on weekend and long road trip. I did not have this issue on the stock light.

Anyone here know the technique to remove the Meso map lights. I'm replacing them with red ones and not sure how to pry them out.

Thanks but I was looking specifically for removing the Meso map lights as well as dome light.
Removing the Meso dome light is probably similar to removing the OEM dome light. But I'm not sure how to get an edge on the Meso map lights.
FYI I never removed the whole assembly from the headliner to install the Meso map lights. Seems unnecessary.
