i never had a Jeep fire. Problems galore but no actual fires. But I only had 170k or so on it.

Just pulled up to dog park. Someone has KO2s on a cross trek. That’s awesome.

Apparently putting KO2s on crosstreks is a big thing nowadays. The drive must be god awful, those things MAYBE have 145hp? add about 10#/wheel on each corner from stock and I can only imagine what that rides like

    Edit: They look cool though

I just googled it. 152 hp on the 2020. I mean, I know the CT can actually handle a decent double track and they might use it for camping but good lord. Unless they make KO2s at a P rating but I didn’t think they did.

Maybe the C load but doubt they make it in that size. If I ever bought one of those or a Rav I'd throw either the Falken Wildpeak, Yoko Geolander, or Hankook Dynapro on if I wanted an actual AT tire with a p-rating. I hear the new Falkens they developed for the TRD-OR Rav4 (might just be Wildpeak A/T) is a great CUV/small SUV tire.

Edit: It's the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail

I get that they’re a decent vehicle but like pick one. You can only be so much of a jack of all trades.

I hope this isn’t too political but the local small elections are the most important. Mr. president is important sure, but how direct are the policies any president has worked toward? Maybe the tax breaks give (or increase add) a few bucks each paycheck. Your local officials are the ones who decided that the road works were or weren’t needed, that approved or denied zoning board approval for a new thing, and approved a new high school that will affect your taxes and property value WAY more than mr or mrs president will ever be able to. Local matters way more in my opinion. So good on ya

agreed, there have been votes in this town of 700 where 1 vote has resulted in significant changes. The smaller the town the more important it is.

For real, I think people see that they're AWD and actually have really good ground clearance stock and attempt to overload them to become "overland" vehicles. When in reality all you need are a slightly, keyword being slightly, more aggressive tire than stock, MAYBE an improved skid plate system up front and you just created a great "offroad" vehicle. Same could be said for our trucks, which many already state :notsure::notsure::notsure:

You better have your WAZE up to date. There are no direct roads, I know my son lives in same part of the state.

Hah! He has it much easier than us. 90 495 24 then 44 into Taunton not a big deal. You had a pretty roundabout route from where you were coming from.

Anyone have any affordable metri pack and weather pack crimper they could suggest? Or are they one of those tools it's best to just spend the money?

I feel like @mach1man001 might have an answer for this one.

Well I jinxed myself the other day, saying that I hadn't had to put any $$ into the Ram
I've been getting a manifold tick for 10-15 seconds in the mornings lately, so when I dropped it at the dealership for its state inspection I asked them to check that, and it turns out that both the passenger and driver's sides are leaking. Apparently it's a fairly common problem on the 5.7 Hemi, especially if you're towing heavy.

But, that's why I've got the extended warranty; it's only going to cost me $100 to get them fixed.
    :notsure:
