    It goes on road trips (4+ hours one way) once a month, sometimes more. But it may sit in the driveway for 3-7 days at times. But usually a grocery getter. I work from home.

    That is nothing to worry about IMO. Just drive it, esp with the new tune settings.

    I’ve let mine sit for 2+ weeks, then did like an hour of total driving between 3 stops and back to sitting for another week or two.

    I’ve never had a problem, winter months I’d be more concerned.

    In my mind, better than tip in, shift points, idle phantoms, and anything else the goons can dream up. :D

    Exactly. The problem is.... there's only ONE Mat!!!
    And that ONE Mat seems to like to tinker with new stuff rather than FINISH old stuff.

    I'm not doing any of this stuff for them, Rafael does the majority of the vF background work. I'm stuck working on tickets and preparing 2.0AT

    @OVTune
    I don't blame you guys for not developing some custom AGM charge profile - that's a pretty niche ask i think. And the amount of work and effort into it would be enormous.
    When you guys get the detailed documentation out, that'll help the community SO much in figuring this stuff out ourselves. We need technical docs, man! :)

    Also, we need the B14 tune packs ;)

    I'm stoked to be able to change my alternator to 14.6-7v through VF - money well spent - i appreciate it!
    Thanks man!

    Anyone else unable to access the Toyota Flash Tool from vF Tuner? I used it a few days ago to identify my ECU, but now it's no longer working. If I click the little icon (on the top bar) within vF Tuner, nothing happens. It's not greyed out either. I'm currently running vF Tuner 1.0.0.0.12 and have the OVTune Flash Manager 1.3.0. Thanks!

    Bingo. Now it will at least launch from vF Tuner. But now for some reason all the buttons are greyed out on the flash tool (ie. Identify, Read, Flash It! ect. are not clickable). I'm gonna try a fresh installation and see if that works. Thanks for the help!

    Weird, my System ID must have changed somewhere along the way when I was trying to update? Not sure what went wrong. I have my old registration key (and I was able to use the flash tool without any issues initially), but now that I look at it, it no longer matches the System ID I'm currently looking at in the flash tool... Do I need to submit a ticket to Zendesk?

    Make up your mind man! First you drive 100,000 miles a month then next thing I know you're letting it sit for 3-4 weeks with only a 1 hour drive the whole time? You had an auto, have a manual.....I'm starting to think you're actually Santa Claus and have been planted here by the mods to keep all us bad kids on best behavior with your helpfulness and good attitude. Now I know why "winter months" concern you the most. :santa: :rofl:
    Don't worry, I'll keep your secret identity quiet:spy:
