@Sperrunner well half my neighbourhoods air conditioners are dead. The power surging we had 2 days killed all of them looks like the power company is going to pay for replacement. But I’m out of ac for a fucking week

First coat of Chassis Saver on. Clearly I'm not sure what to do with the leafs, debating whether to paint them or not. I'm probably not the only person on this forum that gets a bit carried away with the "while I'm in here I should... ". Second coat later and then top coating the areas that will get the most UV exposure and see the most debris (wheel wheel area, leaf mounts, etc).

Nope not the only one. I'll have half my damn truck rebuilt before this manual swap and 4x4 conversion are done. But come on, when will you ever have an easier time to change the steering rack with no trans or front 4x4 stuff in the way? Re-sealed the oil pan for the same reason!

Speaking of a while you're in there situation... this happened...
    IMG_1474.jpg

Installing a CBI ditch bracket. Took out all the front end bits between swap over to wire wheel and paint. Got new skirts, rubber coating for the under fender and what not. Should come out looking nice and fresh... once all the parts arrive.

Haha definitely been there. Projects that should have taken a couple of days turns into weeks of waiting for parts that I didn't need, refinishing the whole area, cleaning, etc. Oh well. That's why you have a backup car so you can keep working on the truck.

Well no pics or videos but I did the “proper head light upgrade” today. I believe that’s crashnburns thread?

Also did a baseline dyno run. After three runs, averaged around 180hp and 200 torque at the wheels. Since I finally rebuilt the front end and replaced the rear leafs, I’m finally starting on the drivetrain.

Me as well. Day long jobs take anywhere from a day to a week, and it goes up from there on longer jobs. Plus I clean the crap out of everything when I pull it apart, and remove rust and paint and do whatever else since I'm in there. Last time my truck was down for a week, it took two months. Though part of that was because I found issues that had to be addressed, water found its way in and ants took up residence...

They don’t make new units with 22. But you can still buy it. But they don’t make new22. Its all old stock or recycled 22. Like 500$ a bottle though.

we still have stores that are all 22. Some of them have like 400lb+

What's this empty plug attached to the MAF harness? About to give it a nip.

    - Burnt valve replaced
    - Head serviced and surfaced
    - New valve seals
    - New injectors
    - New cooling hoses
    - New water pump
    - Other misc things.

It idles high, and you can hear it try to idle down at a stoplight, but it nearly dies each time. I suspect there's crud in the IAC valve.

Empty plug? I think it’s something for electrical noise to the sensors
