nah I don't really like any of those areas lol.

We will stick to South HSV most likely, other areas of interest for us are Green Mtn, Monte Sano, possibly out into New Market a little bit. Basically East of 231..

I agree, just leave those who can work from home at home if it's going to require everyone in the office with a built up immunity system to wear a stupid mask all day. I also agree with the SA Fishing company face-shield as way better option. I love mine compared to all the home made ones i've seen.

On a side note, been in PCB for 2 days with thousands of people and have seen maybe 10 facemasks the whole time.

I live in New Market! They are building 2 new sub divisions right now, but the lots are stupid small (.25 - .5). Look at Hazelgreen and then take Research Prk Blvd back into town.

yeah but when I say New Market, I don't mean that far out lol. I mean just when it becomes "New Market addresses" like here-ish. Got a buddy that lives off winchester before the flint river and has a new market address lol

I'm becoming a big fan of teleworking. I hope they leave us this way and just go in when we need to test something.

That is a really nice area, but be careful of what school they are zoned for. Some are zoned for HSV city school (which suck).
The blue are has 2 new subdivisions being built that look really nice.

yeah this is all just location preference, not even considering schools. Which is one of the things that sways us most to staying in South HSV.

It amazes me that companies don't continue working from home at least on a partial basis, especially since most have shown they can be as or more productive. My sister's company told them get used to working from home, they won't be going back to normal, for the foreseeable future. I think something like 50 or 75% of employees will be at home on a rotation. No need for 100% office space, supplies etc. I get some companies can't do that, I'll never be able to work from home on a regular basis, but so many can.

I can't work from home either. My boots need to be on the ground at my workplace.

You know what I do, don't like to say publicly, we made it work, and can do it again. But there's no way to produce the same "product" via the interwebs.

Yeah, the Gov Prime companies aren't a big fan of working remote in the past. Too had to watch over classified data and machines. I do hope that this experience has opened the eyes of more top level people to how it can be mixed in. If nothing else, it has really helped work/life balance for many people that I know. But some people need their routine and work environment and others don't. I think if companies see that they can get by with less work/office space as overhead expenses, they will be much more on board in the go forward of "normal". There will always be those jobs that just can't.
