It wasn’t supposed to show up until Tuesday. When I saw the FedEx guy coming to the door today I was so excited.
    You’re gonna love it. :D

Do you guys think the UCS Falcon is going to retire before it comes back in stock? It's been "temporarily out of stock" for a few months now and on the market for about 4ish years

First Lego I put together in a few decades! Took about 8 hours. Was really fun, the 1600 pieces sounded daunting at first but wasn't so bad. Love how alot of the parts are operable.

Yeah, my sister called and asked me to go back in the Lego store for some Harry Potter sets. I kept the second hot rod as a finder's fee...

The hot rod is a really nice little set. It's a shame Lego is offering such a good free gift while most of their inventory is on backorder or out of stock. Makes it more difficult to qualify for one.

Of the others in the pic, I've only built the Lego store before, but picked up a second to build something larger. The Porsche and Harley I'm saving; some friends will be in town in a couple weeks and we're planning a build day

Internationally based store prices start at $687.12 (beware of shipping and esp the handling charges) and US based store prices start at a whopping $998.99.

    Yes, I think it will.

Not exactly the highest level source, but this came from the manager of my local Lego store yesterday: demand went through the roof over the last few months with everyone being stuck at home. Some future sets for 2020 have been bumped back to 2021 to allow manufacturing capacity for several sets (particularly high demand ones) in the current catalog that weren't supposed to have more than one production run for this year. Sets are typically retired at year's end.

Purely a gut instinct, but with the Falcon being a flagship model and as large as it is, I think will at least make it through the end of 2020.
