Played around on the stock market and now I can buy some goodies for my taco! I was looking at fox, icon, and ADS. My biggest concern is overbuying. Should I be considering bilsteins? Looking to lift around 2-2.5 inches. I live in florida so no serious wheeling, I maybe get out once a month to play around. It’s is my daily driver, so is one route better for more miles? I know some of these are rebuildable, but if driving a lot speeds that progress I might not want to go that route.
I have looked at headstrong’s complete lift packages, I want a full leaf pack replacement (Dakar or icons rxt, open to options) and plan to do upper control arms. Also I have a sso hybrid winch bumper, should I get a 650lb coil verses a 600lb? I want stuff that will last, but I’m more concerned with over buying. I do have a topper and a RTT on the way so I do have weight occasionally. Picture for reference. 2015 trd sport 4x4 long bed. Thanks for your opinions. CCB1620F-1BAC-4395-8D42-28CFAB37BC72.jpg

Thanks for sharing your stock tips with the rest of us.... sheesh!

JK truck looks great! I have no input on the suspension lift, so I apologize for that.

I've read a lot of positive feedback on the eibach pro lift. I have that kit sitting in my back seat right now and hopefully getting it put on Thursday.

Your truck looks good. I had 5100s on stock coils on my access cab 2wd and liked it and have read good things about that route.

Ya I've been buying up stocks as well since March. I mean I always keep a portfolio but definitely looking at stocks I normally wouldn't have bought. Sold a bunch on this latest rally... not sure if I want to reinvest or take out for some fun money.

Was my first time. Definitely addicting, I’m sitting in the same boat, thinking I should take my money and run.

Not sure I can help out with the suspension lift, but I am curious about what wheels you're rocking. I think something like those would look great on my truck.

My 6112/5160 with OME Dakars turned out better than I expected for daily driver duty. Lots of support and body control without adding to harshness over the stock TRD Sport suspension. Off road duty so far has been limited (only installed 3 weeks) to hauling a bunch of retaining wall blocks up/down a steep-ish hill with wet roots/grass on my back property so I can't really comment on off road capability but there are plenty of reviews and YT vids on this setup. I'm on second to highest setting, turned out to be about 2.5" lift (with 600 lb springs, no bumper) in front and 3" in rear.

I was Looking at that set up that headstrong has, I do like that you can get the Dakar’s and upper control arms with them. https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p186/Performance_Bilstein_Kit_%28HS05BK-2%29.html
Seems like it might be right in the middle of the 5100s and a coil over kit. More of a daily driver so offroad capability isn’t too important, I guess I would just be want it better and more functional than stock. Definitely more budget friendly. Where do you get it from? Thanks!

Sending you a DM now!

I have an 06 trd sport, finally decided to lift it, settled on wheelers 6112/5160 kit with all pro leaf pack, and jba uca's, the really frustrating thing is the 6112's are back ordered, been waiting since May 13th! :( I feel the same way as you, being that my truck is older I didn't want to slap a 3,500 dollar suspension on it. I think the bilstein 6112/5160 should give me what I'm look in for, hopefully I'll find out sometime soon, good luck!

I was all about wanting the $3500 lift till I was able to get it, now I’m thinking it might be overkill, although I’m sure it’s a really nice upgrade. That’s a bummer, hope they get them out to you soon! I had the 5100 on my access cab and liked the upgrade and I hear that the 6112/5160 offer an ever better upgrade and performance.

I was going to call/email them and ask them what I asked here but they have a note on their site that says “they are not answering merchandise questions because of many ordered being placed and wanting them shipped out fast
and on time.” Can’t blame them, get the product out to the people spending!

Are you totally sure you are not going to start taking up to Citrus? If you do, you are going to wish you went with the better gear.

Got it from various places, including headstrong, Wheeler's, toytec and Amazon. No one had any 6112's in stock but Amazon had a seller with one set w600 lb coils. I snatched them and at a good deal (about $100 less than everywhere else I found with free shipping to boot). They arrived with a damaged seal where the piston shaft came through the strut body and it took 3 weeks to get a replacement because they had to drop ship from wherever Bilstein makes them here in the states. It sucked but I don't think anyone could really do much about it. All in, all 4 struts and front coils with dakar medium duty leafs, leaf bushings, 2.5° rear axle wedges, extended u bolts and front diff drop kit it was right around $1700. $200 for an alignment probably brought it up real close to $2k once all the odds and ends are factored in. I rarely pay a shop to work on my vehicles and I did the install and rough alignment myself which saved a good chunk, I'm sure.

Performance off road will be improved. On road, it will be a compromise. If you don't plan to get into some rough stuff with it, it might be a poor use of the $.

I went to citrus for the first time Memorial Day. Some of that stuff looks intense! I think even if I had the better stuff I wouldn’t wanna hit some of that stuff I’ve seen guys do.
