    Similar to the 6.5 Creedmoor, except more fps. Didn't feel that much more recoil.

    My 6.5 creedmoor has little to no recoil. Our son has a youth .243 and it has more recoil then the creedmoor. I love it.

    piddly stuff
    Alot of folks hunt with .243's around here. I've never had one but understand the accuracy. I was hunting with a .270 for years the a .300 WSM but didn't care for that much at all. Current favorite is a .308 dead accurate and drops em dead

    .308’s are awesome and very deadly. A friend of mine uses one and I’ve seen deer he’s shot. I had a .270 WSM and it was too much fun for around here. My longest shot is 165 yards.

    Yeah I figure that’s why. A dear friend of ours gave it to him last year. I got a feeling as soon as he can get up on the 6.5 he’ll want to shoot it more. He’s only 8.

    I got the 300 for when I was hunting over fields where I could take some long shots. It just wasn't fun to shoot and busted my nose open several times. I trust the 308 from 0-350 yards but the closer the better
