So since I got my shit jacked from my truck this morning, I've decided I'm getting an alarm system. I've decided on the Viper 350 2-way kit. However I have a question...and it's probably a dumb one. Anywhos, my truck did not come with a remote for keyless entry..and i honestly don't know if it's capable. I asked the techs at toyota when i was getting my second key made and they said "well, we can try and set it up, if it works, it works. if not, oh well." ... problem is they wanted 100 just to try and setup it up.

SOOOO...does it matter if my truck is keyless compatible? or will this work regardless

// cliffnotes: tuck no have keyless entry. viper alarm capable?

Nope the alarm should wire straight to the locks. Mine didn't have the remote and I have a viper keyless entry.

i just pulled out the reciept, looks like it was
$225 for the viper 350 alarm
    $10 for parts?
    $225 for labor
    $19.98 tax
    -------------
    total: $479.98
took them like 6 or 7 hours to do it, seems like thats way too long, but i had no other choice, and i had been ripped off a couple times.

its not too sensitive, but i mean if someone is beating on it or something then yeah it will go off, just make sure if you have someone do it they wire the starter kill switch correct...the dumbasses that did mine put the wire underneath my clutch, so every time i pressed on the clutch it would hit the wire. Eventually it cut the wire in half and i was stuck in a parking lot.
