Hi Lift bed rail mounts

I have made a set of these for a fellow TW member and myself. The material is 1/8" thick aluminum. The hardware is all SS except the T-slot nuts and locking pin. I am now selling these as a kit for $75 price includes shipping. Thanks

I would be very interested in a set that had two sets of mount holes, say either for mounting some recovery boards or an axe/shovel combo. or even 3 sets for hi-lift, axe, and shovel, though idk if the bed would be deep enough for that much

 

could you measure how far down the hi lift jack sits? I need a set but I'm running a sleeper platform in my bed, I only have about 6 inches to work with.

My bad, I just measured it. The bracket from top to bottom measures 8".I might be able to fab something up for your bed.

Are you looking to mount all three I could possibly make two different types of brackets.

 

I think just a double mount would actually be ideal for my needs

 

Ok to mount a shovel and axe?

 

yup, maybe have the holes spaced out enough that you could also mount a pair of recovery boards with 4 bolts for versatility, say up against the front of the bed

 

I would just need to know how far to space the holes apart.The diameter of the holes, and if you wanted a lock or hardware.

based on this pic, 270MM, so lets call that the distance between the holes? definite yes on the lock and hardware

 

so 270mm is somewhere around 10.6” . Any idea on the hole diamete? The locking pin is a 1/2x13 . If the hole diameter is smaller I could machine a 1/4” x20

 

A 1/2'' hole diameter should be perfect

 

I'd be interested in a set as in the original post. Might also take a set for shovel/axe depending on the final design.
