Finished some photos and a vid for the truck from yesterday, also moved maxtrax back to the roof rack after mocking up a mount for the bed bars and just didn’t sit right.

Bought used set oem headlights. What a big difference. Kinda looks like truck was in accident got repaired lol. Hopefully these will last another 15 yrs. On to next project replace stock trd shocks. Debating to go w 3rd gens or stay w 2nd take offs I really dont want the 1+ in lift. Thinking about led fog lights caliraised kit too.

Once I remove them I never put them back on. They tend to be too mangled at that point. If you really took your time on a very hot day armed with a heat gun, you could take them off with ease. They're basically just thick stickers. Or You could always buy new emblems that have the adhesive on them.

If your referring to plasti diping them, no need to take them off.

+1 for debadging. At least the entire tailgate. I wish I had debadged the doors too while I was at in instead of dipping those

I feel ya. I suggest he paints them first. See if he likes it better. Then if not, then rip those emblems off lol. There's so many variations of color you can do. I'm planning on redoing mine soon. 20200429_154916.jpg
