Buh-bye Tacoma

So yesterday morning around 5, I woke up to my mother in law screaming that my truck was on fire.
By the time I saw it, it was engulfed in the front end. Fire investigator thinks battery or fuse box or a wire in that area caused it. Needless to say, it's totalled.
It had 166k on it.

 

Any electrical mods / additions on the truck?

 

Fuck. That sucks.

 

Just an led light bar that was about a year or so old.

 

What it used to look like...

 

went through the same thing with an F150 I owned was woken up by the fire department banging on the door early one Sunday morning....sucked. Hope everyone was safe and nothing else caught on fire

 

Bummer man, but that's why we have insurance.

If you were closer to me, I'd offer to snag the bed and doors off of it for a few ideas I have / been inspired towards.

That first pic threw me off big time, thought your truck was on fire in your living room because of the reflections on the window lol.

 

Not selling anything until they do their investigation, sorry.

 

I know the truck part sucked, just glad everyone safe and nothing else happened.

 

Damn .. that sucks. glad everyone is OK! While we're sharing a few pics, here was my father in laws truck. it was in a barn for a long time. revived it and was driving it from a farm north of lubbock down to austin when ... BOOM ... everyone out!

 

Hey, no worries man I understand. Once the investigation is done let me know and ill drive down to pick up the bedside if you're willing to sell mine took a pretty nasty hit over the weekend.

That’s sucks. But that damn light bar mounted in the middle of the hood would have drove me crazy. Hope it all works out.
