    3rd gen 4Runners are about the pinnacle of Toyota's original vision for that platform. After that they got a little overgrown and fancy (this coming from a former 2nd gen & 4th gen owner).

    I had a 99 BSP 4x4 several years back. I wish I’d found this forum when we had it, I probably would have sorted out the issues it had. I didn’t know the history of it when we bought it(bought it from a guy who got it at auction). Either the t-case was jacked our the front diff had different gears in it. I was not confident enough to tear into it to figure out which it was. Sold it and bought a dang Honda Accord.... lamest car I’ve ever owned.

    Nice one. I saw a nice white OR on 20 today, lifted and plate front bumper,but no pictures, with a closing speed of 160 mph it's hard to get the phone up that quick.
