Just finished up my 300blk pistol build. Going to be running a Trijicon MRO that will be here this week. Can’t wait to get it to the range!

    Yeah.
    That thing is sexy.

A couple of things to think about: They make PMAGs specifically for 300BLK -- while the standard 5.56 ones worked for me with some ammo, other ammo had feed issues. The 300BLK mags seem to work better regardless of ammo. Also, with the short barrel, a small hand stop on the bottom of the handguard is a good idea. My buddy had his hand slip and bruised a finger pretty badly.

Thanks! I already have a few 300 mags and the hand stop should be here tomorrow.

    WTB... ISO... Seeking advice....
Anyone know of a decent backpack solution to carry an 11.5" AR w/ a law folder? (Overall length folded is 21.5".) It seems most standard backpacks I'm seeing max out around 18"-19" in length.
Specifically, something as small/snug as possible, ideally under $100, and relatively slim & simple that looks greyman/edc or school/work oriented... No molle on the outside, and not black, OD, FDE, camo, etc....
Plan to use it for day hikes, camping (not backpacking) trips, and long drives when going out of town.
    TIA

That’s a great looking build! Love that low profile handguard. What length is the barrel with the flash can?

Thanks! Its a 8" Seekins Precision barrel and a SLR rifleworks linear comp that adds 1.5". The handgaurd is a 8.5" SLR Ion ultra light.

I haven't shot it yet, but the fit and finish is great.
