Awesome! I like Aero stuff, that's what I used for mine also except I got the set. My lower has 'safe' and 'I'm your huckleberry' positions available. Nice build, sounds like it'll be a smooth shooter!
I may have to give this stuff a shot. Everything is damn tight on my AR and I run it sopping wet with oil. My 1911 is buttery smooth but a little more lube never hurts.

I'm a fan. It's a win win solution. If you put it on ahead of time, all the carbon fouling doesn't stick to the bcg, feed, or barrel.

Also, if you coat it on and put a ton of rounds through it, it heats everything up and the lube penetrates the older crud and loosens it up. After a few trips it's all set to go.

    :angrygirl:

that said after about 3 years I’ll probably trade in the Tacoma for a 19 frontier old man truck style to drive until it falls apart at the seams.

They are Goodyear MV/T's. They aren't mine though. They are size 395/85R20's. I think I would have to trim a little bit more than I have to fit those! :p plus man are they heavy! 4 tires on the pallet weighed in at 880lbs!

Jeez, the sense of scale was definitely lost with that photo, that’s damn near a 50” tire! Sort of related note, I saw a similar truck to mine with a very modest lift and 37’s and . I don’t think i’d ever go that tall without a regear (which i’m not about to undertake) but damn it looked good!

Welcome back and thank you for your service. Buy, sell, trade rules indicate you need a minimum of 50 posts to sell anything. With 44 you are almost there. Answering this response and a few others will quickly put you over the top. You are also required to post a picture of your sale items. Just a friendly reminder as mods will remind people of the rules by giving them a short vacation. Good luck!

Majority of the connectors I run in the truck are weatherpack, metripack or molex. I invested about 600$ in just connector sizes, components, pins etc.... then another who knows what for tools. Worth it 100% being modular is awesome. Ironically I don't use any of the relays on my bussman since everything is hardwired with the fuse, the larger items that need to be relayed have their own inline relay assemblies lol.

That's crazy. That's over 200lbs per tire. I think the STT Pro was the heaviest tire I've had at maybe 62lbs each.

    Good evening everyone,

I have kind of an oddball question. Has anyone had central air conditioning installed “somewhat” recently? We finally decided to do it. I had a guy come by and he gave me a quote. So far he’s the only one that even got back to me and has a great reputation and all positive reviews. I’m trying to gauge if he’s in the ballpark or way out there.
I tried looking up average prices online but every link bumps you to a quote inquiry like home advisor and such. If someone could shed some light in this area I would greatly appreciate it.

oh man. That’s a loaded question. Ducts already in? Ductless? House size? Zones? Number of condensers?

realistically you should get three quotes for the specific job. What you also might learn is it will be cheaper and easier depending on the setup, to sell the house and buy one with it already installed. Pools and central air. They add way less to the property value than the install cost.

Did you consider split air units if you are not already ducted?

My bad, I should’ve given details......

typical raised ranch home. About 1900 sq feet, basement is finished. The house has forced hot water gas heat so AC would be from scratch. There would be one compressor and one air handler, two zones.

I looked at setting up mini splits but I don’t think I’ll get as good coverage, or even cooling.

Oof. Running ducts is going to be costly or look bad. I would seriously, and not jokingly, consider selling for a new house in the town. Your move costs will be less than an install most likely.

edit unless you do one zone and run them in the floor joists? Finished basement throws a wrench.
