    Looking at that loader design it looks exactly like a miniaturized version of the loader on our new holland, the angles and all.

    The first time I sat that I got all excited, then I saw the price and got deflated quickly.

    Plus, that’s too nice, and expensive, to actually use IMHO

    It’s a fairly simple design. I wondered at first if it WAS homemade.

    Nice, I wonder how big the pump is on it? I believe 100% that it'll lift 500lbs. My 1986 JLG LJ500 mini skid steer is rated for 500lbs too. It's amazing what it'll do and I haven't even used it that much yet. Repacking the cylinders now, then I gotta flush the hydraulic oil (wrong stuff in there when I got it), and weld two cracks. Then it's ready to put to work. I've got a bucket and forks for it, pin-on but kinda quick-attach. It's my only 4x4 machine (not including our daily driver vehicles, of course).

    I've posted this before, but in case you haven't seen it. Got it for free, but once I'm done fixing it and the virus is past us, I'm going to give my buddy the $300 he had into buying it. I'll have a total of $400 into it including purchase price. It's also got auxiliary hydraulics, and back in the day came with a bunch of attachments including a hydraulic post hole auger and hydraulic trencher. Wish I could find them, but I'll end up building them.

    That came out awesome.

    Nice score. That thing is cool.

    I just lifted this bin full of extra wrenches and sockets. Not sure what it weighs, but I wouldn’t try to pick it up. This little loader didn’t struggle at all with it. Other than being a smidge too short :D

    It’s kinda tractor related.
    We got a call today that one of the contractors for the city needed help, they were working on a water line and got their backhoe to close to the swamp.

    :rofl::rofl:

    Yep, we rolled up and I looked at that and said “oh crap, there’s no ‘hoe” and the contractor laughed and said when he started sliding he jammed the ‘hoe down into the marsh and it went through like butter, when he pulled it up there was about 4’ of mud above the bucket on the arm.

    Friend of mine brought this hitch off of his J.D. MX10 bush hog. I made him one out of thicker material and just out of curiosity ask my buddy at Deere how much it cost, he said $247 :eek:

    I only charged the guy $60 :D

    Thanks! Wasn't sure I was going to keep it at first, it's SLOOOWWW. However, the hydraulic oil in it is thicker than the manual shows it should be, so I let it sit out on a hot day. Once the oil was warmed, the speed increased substantially- to the point that it's bearable to get around. It's hydrostatic drive, two wheel motors with chain/sprockets driving the axles/tires.

    I've always loved the power of hydraulics, if it gets the job done and it's easier on your back, ya can't ask much more of it!

    What's really sad about that is that part has less material and work in it than a $20 semi-trailer steel swing door hinge. This one is aluminum but many are 3/16" steel.
