Something you've done that 99.9% of TW members have not

i got a 3000$ ticket and misdemeanor for cutting down a tree worth 12$ in the Tillamook state forest a month after i graduated high school!

it all ended up getting dropped but it was the stupidest ticket I've ever heard of in my life.

 

i flew over new york city and washington d.c. in the same day on a helicopter.

 

Depends. Sometimes its wet grit/slurry machine. Sometimes a plasma based dry grit/paint machine. There 9fa and 7fa gas turbine wheels.
The turbine wheels are inconel. And also forward stub shafts which are about 18000 lbs.

 

I'm confused. So the machine you use to work on stuff has parts that are that much? Or you use machines to work on the expensive parts?

 

Sorry, yea. That's looks confusing now that I read it. Its that actual parts that cost that much.so I see about $6 million in parts per week.

I managed to get bitten by a monkey in the philippenes.

Went half way around the world (outta my own pocket) to the southern hemishpere to go tandem sky diving (first timer), walk up a glacier and to get over a stupid girl.

Took a shower while under 1200 feet of seawater.

 

Not my smartest moment but i drove a car sideways down the road at about 45mph for a good amount of time before going in to a ditch and flipping over.

I sky dived out of a Cessna 172 the day before my wedding, with my brother-in-law, who was also my best man the next day.

Biked down Pikes Peak (that was fun)

Got to go up in a stunt plane for one of my birthdays.

 

Had a joy ride in a UH-60 Blackhawk through Hawaii Mountains with a couple of Army Warrant officers that thought they would try to rattle the F#@$ out of an Airman....and didn't loose my lunch.

 

Nice! Man, I dig C17s. Best plane to fly in. You can play basketball in the cargo bay! Smooth comfort.

 

Done that too. Blew all kinds of stuff up in Bosnia. Have about thirty empty C4 bags too prove it. They are great for storing gear. Just make sure you wash 'em. Getting the dogs and FBI on you at the airport is no fun.

Yea i didnt even think about grabbing the bags, I used to be really good friends a few of our EOD team in Afghanistan and they always needed a "pack mule" and when they said i could twist the switch on a few I was all about it. haha.
