    Finally had a chance to resume my hobby after 3 months and got my resurfaced heads back from the machine shop on Monday. I started by removing the 24 valve oil seals and replacing them with new oil seals. Easy peasy. I didn't even have to tap them down with a hammer since I heard the click after pressing on them with my thumbs. Removing the valves were easy a few months ago so I didn't expect to have such a hard time replacing them. Right?! Those tiny valve keepers refused to stay in place and it took me 3 hours to do just the first 4. Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I was definitely edging toward insanity and then asked my son to help me and found out that 4 hands are better than 2 hands in this case. Then as I was lifting the head to press in the 5th valve I noticed metal shavings underneath. ARGHH !!! This means that I had to remove the 4 valves I had just spent 3 hours on and take it back to the machine shop to have it cleaned again. Leaving those metal shavings in the head would have destroyed my engine in short order. I will be out of town tomorrow so I will likely be installing the titanium valves whenever my son can help me out again.

    I'll need to give it another shot. The new bulbs wouldn't twist and fit into the socket. Stock went in and out a couple times. Ill need to compare the tabs too. No melting issues?

    TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
    They use to connect to the ABC 30 pin harness so that the LED behind the camera icon would dim with the dash lights. The harness I got from ABC is only a 24 pin so they did not "Y" off from the harness to provide that ferature. I want that feature so I will have to tap into the ECT button.

    Purchased a 2020 grill for my 2017 from someone local. I’m loving the look of the new grill compared to the cheese grater.

    just some amber leds i had around. Originally thought i wanted a soft amber color, now i plan on matching them to the bluish color of the dials.

    I did the same, you can take adj. pliers from the back and unscrew it until you get enough threads showing in the front

    @eclane

    I've had no problems at all, either with fit, aim, or heat. Guess I got lucky with the Nokya bulbs. Some manufactures seem to make the H16 / H11 bulb tabs slightly different. That should be any easy fix. Good luck!

    @Mr. Nobody

    That looks like a 10# bottle to me. If so, your air-up estimates may be on the high side. I have a 20# bottle, and your numbers are roughly what I get.

    Either way, its money well spent! :thumbsup:

    You've got a nice clean install there, and didn't break the bank.
