I work at Costco in the tire center. You really can't go wrong with that tire. :D

ive had Michelin Defender LTX Tires on my Tacoma in the past. They were a great highway tire. Good on dry, wet, light snow, and ice. Not for off pavement though. They are a nice ride and quiet. They also have the 3 peak symbol. 70000 mile warranty. I had P265/70R16. Costco doesn’t allow a larger tire for your truck, only O.E. Sizes. At least that is this way at my local Costco.

Depends on the costco... but generally yes, we're supposed to stay with the stock size. At my store we play it by ear a bit more, we have a bit of an off road Toyota crew in our Tire Center.

My good Traffic advisor came last week, this is the setup so far. Still got a couple more lights to install (my grille lights) and need to splice the dash light to the Aux light wires on my TA controller.

I went with the LTX. I do lots of highway, but live on a dirt road with horrible drainage. I've found the tire awesome in every application, but I don't crawl or do aggressive offroad.

Last month I dropped a boat with a trailer into a pond without a ramp. This involved backing down a pretty aggressive grade that incorporated railroad ties and low rock walls to hold earth in place, prevent corrosion. I backed in and got out, and the comment of the property owner was that he couldn't tell where I had been. Used 4L and had no slippage whatsoever. Have I mentioned lately how much I love this f'n truck?

Bought mine at Costco also, and got a bit of pushback as i went from 245/65 (SR5) to 265/70, which is stock on a TRD Baja. This was the justification and they accepted it.

Costco tire purchasing is worth the price of membership on it's own, IMHO.

Granted I've only had it installed for a little while now but no I haven't hit the mic with my knee, honestly, I don't think I've ever hit that part of the dash with my knee anyway. I have caught the mic cable with my foot though so I need to figure out a better cable management situation. I'll only have the mic hung on the dash while I'm out wheeling/camping so probably not a huge PITA.

Love it. Did you plasti dip the lower bumper with that gray section? I find it pretty difficult to make parts of the truck "pop" the way the other colors do. Most other colors use black, but when you have a black truck it's a bit different. Great looking rig man!

Yes it’s grey plasti-dip. I have always liked how people with white Tacoma’s paint that portion black and wanted to see if I could do something subtle but still pop. I really like it and it’s not so entertaining you see regularly on black Tacoma’s.
