Took the camper out for her maiden voyage! Just a quick overnight trip with my daughter to dial things in!

It definitely did great. My 2 yo daughter was up at 430am, other than that it was really good. Love how everything packs up and can just stay in there. Towed really well. Very comfortable.

So the wife and I finally narrowed our search down to the options below. We like the wolfpup because the bed flips up and becomes a couch. The Jayco is the Baja model, so its slightly lifted and has off road tires. I need help deciding on what to get. The salesman was really trying to sell the quality of Jayco. We assume that Jayco is good because we see them everywhere. What do you guys think?

I like the layout of the Forrest River. Has a pantry to store things. The Jayco just has OHC. I also like the wrap around dinette. We have that in ours and we can seat 4 comfortably at it. I’m not completely sold on the fold up beds yet. The outside doors always bothered me not matching the outside colors on the metal sided ones. We ended up with one of the fiberglass sided campers instead. Have you looked at some of the Keystone campers? Just some of my thoughts on it. Probably doesn’t really help in deciding but maybe a little helpful.

I have not. I am trying to stick to ones that are 16-17’. Your opinion was helpful! The forest river does have a nice layout and we also like the U shaped seating.

Take a look at the keystones and the Winnebago Micro Minnies.

We have a Keystone Passport grand touring 2400BH and have been really pleased with it. A friend of mine bought the 21’ model of it and it’s really nice for a couple. They do make some in smaller sizes. I believe it’s the Hideout model.

Before we bought our we rented a Micro Minnie 1700BH and liked it. It was just too small without a slideout for 3-4 of us. But they make various sizes of them. Seen some really good deals on them also.

The ones I posted are within our budget. We saw a Winniebago on our way out that was really nice but was priced at $26 and didn’t have a slide out. I may have to look out for the keystones. When I put in the filter at the places we looked neither of those brands came up!

IMG_20200525_202416422.jpg Great thread TW. We wanted something small that we could still stand in and the Geo pro 15tb has been perfect for the wife and I. The layout is very functional for two and I agree with some other comments that this series seems to be well made... Time will tell.:fingerscrossed:

I tow with a Pelfreybilt non-high clearance bumper.

The receiver is in the same place (in relation to the truck) on both bumpers.

Is this using the factory hitch or a non rated. I am building a high clearance and I figure it is strong than my factory but still curious.

This is using the hitch in the bumper, not the factory one.

I guess one would call it non-rated - but, it appears to be stronger than the factory one.
