East. Head north on Thibodeau Rd from Realty Rd. Then head west on 9 Mile Rd all the way to the end at the river. There's a tramway across the river there. I don't know if it gets used. Looks like its in good shape.

Yeah, I've been there before, I just try not to roll up on random people's cabins. Anyone wanting to do a cruise up there on the weekend of the 4th, I'd be up for a drive up one day and back the next from Southern Maine.

The AALs were delivered today and I must give the UPS man props for he had IMPECCABLE timing! I'd just removed the ubolts when he pulled up. So not a single delay installing them. Took the pre/post measurements and will recheck after a couple days commuting to work (~150mi total) then over to HeadStrong to get coils to match gained height!

Cruise tentatively planned for July 2-4 or 3-5.

    If leaving July 2:
    July 2:
    Leave Bridgton at 4:30 p.m.
Drive north - this depends on who is coming along and where they are originating. It gets dark at 9, so getting to a camping spot by 7:30 would be ideal. Rangeley, Eustis, Medway, etc
    July 3:
Head to Nine Mile - camp
    July 4:
    Parade home

    If leaving July 3:
    July 3:
Leave Bridgton early - Exact time based on group
    Head to Nine Mile
    July 4:
    Explore NMW
    Head back towards Golden Road
    Camp
    July 5:
    Return early

The big concern on this run will be fuel, tires, navigation, and comms. You should be prepared to go 200 miles at a minimum between refuelings and 300 would be ideal. The more fuel you have the more exploring you can do up there. Tires, at least a full-size spare and a tire plug kit w/ compressor. Navigation - Delorme Gazetteer and offline Google Maps. Comms - cell phone service can be had, but it isn't reliable. I think I had service at the turn for Ross Lake on Verizon. 2m radio would be ideal. Truckers use MURS.

If people are interested we can make a thread.

I and another from Facebook group NAC-Northeast Adventure Company are looking at going up on July 5th-8th enter through Caribou checkpoint, and head north up to ghost trains, then on into the allegash, and st. john river area, head out to allegash / Fort Kent for refuel, then either back into NMW and south, or head down Rt11 home depending on time constraints. we are mapping/pre-running a small 10 vehicle run for September 18th-20th -ish... still in planning stages.

If you get to St. Pamphile before 5 (Mon-Thur) or before noon or so Friday you can get gas in St. Pamphile on the US side. Cash only.

Is that part of the DOC's fuel network up there that you need an access card for?

Placed order for the ECGS this morning and waiting to hear back from Marie @ HS about a part Q then will be placing that order. Won't be able to do any installation until next weekend but if I can still borrow/rent your puller, I'm happy to meet up between now and then--whether that be coming to Oxford or catching you in route somewhere.

    @SR-71A
Is there a date/time that works for you to help/guide? Currently I'm typically going into work on Thursdays & Fridays but those have a bit of wiggle room. Aside from that I can be available about any time.

    Mahalo!
