I’ve done both the wiper and fog light mod, they make the truck a lot better.

Yeah I followed your posts on the fog light mod, good job! My Mictuning fog light switch and OEM harness should arrive tomorrow that will complete the parts I need for the fog light OEM (almost) mod.

Truck is at a good stopping point now that the gears and air locker are all straightened out so figured I'd share an updated photo:

I'm moving a couple states away temporarily and will have a garage + extra time. Thinking about overhauling the suspension when I'm settled in. Just enrolled in a welding class for the fall - should be fun. I want to weld my own gussets, shock towers, etc.

Ive had my front struts replaced twice already and they started making noise again. Im out of the manufactures warranty so Im on my own. Any recommendation on aftermarket struts? Not looking to lift the truck.

Sorry all I don't have a picture but I figured this was the right thread to ask this question since all you guys own SR's. How many of you have installed lockers? I am not rock climbing but was thinking about adding them.

I went with an ARB Air Locker for the rear and Nitro 4.88 gears. To power the locker I installed an ARB single in my rear bed cubby. I had a couple phone calls with Nitro before pulling the trigger on my setup.

The locker I got on sale for $650 shipped. The shop I went through provided my gears and labor for $1,700 and they put the locker in for no charge. I ran my own airline and did the compressor install, however. I also did the oil swap at the 500 mile mark and replaced all crush washers for pretty cheap.

I tow a 1,000 lb aluminum drift boat 2-3 times per week. The truck is my daily driver, although now it will be garaged as I'm moving to Utah and working from home for a year. As far as off roading goes I have hit 5 dedicated trails in the 10 months I've owned the truck. Otherwise 40% of the trucks odometer (4,000 out of the 10,000 miles it has) has been racked up on gravel or dirt roads. The gears are worth it if you tow and drive steep roads without a doubt. I don't Offroad enough to justify the price of the locker, in my opinion. I got it at a steep discount, but even then it's questionable. Is it nice to have? Sure. But really I haven't gotten my monies worth, yet. I just wanted to do it at the time of the gears because you might as well crack the diffs open once and once only. I also got the compressor as a gift. If I would have had to pay $1,000 for the locker, $350 for the compressor, and $100 for the mount I wouldn't have done it. Look for deals!

Fog light connector, connects up to the OEM fog light harness you don’t have.
I added fog lights to my SR, did a modified (easier) version of Nitori’s SR OEM fog light mod:
    Nitori's OEM SR Foglight mod!

That connector isn’t going to do anything without the fog light relay installed and wiring to the ECU to give it a command to pick up the relay. All that is in the link I provided. Can’t see using it for other purposes but it’s possible with the ECU wiring however your Fog Light dash Indicator would come on lol.

Hey guys so I had a cracked fog light, the company send a whole replacement kit, fogs lights, bezels with cutouts and wiring hardness. I only need the fogs lights, does anyone wants everything else? You can get yourself better than stock fog lights. Just pay me the shipping

Its just a switched connection, you could literally use it for anything. I gave up trying to find the other half of that harness and lopped it off and crimped on a standard H11 fog light harness plug. I did the same with the aftermarket light bar and made my own fog light harness for less than 15 bucks for all the wiring. The factory harness is like $75 for $3 worth of wiring and connectors.
