Make sure you re-torque after 500 miles at least. Good luck with your truck.

this is why I perform my own work. I trust my amateur but devoted ass more than a professional but disinterested one on a hangover and after giving his 2 weeks!

Its a finer thread for sure. 1.5 would sound about right for a fine thread bolt of that size. MAYBE 1.25 or 1. just get one of each.... or take the nut off the other side for the time being while you are not driving.

Did the shop tell you to bring it back after x number of miles to get retorqued? Most shops due.

Only if they didn’t tell him to get them retorqued. If they did, it’s on him.

Did you hear any clunking leading up to this? I had a friend with a 3rd gen riding with me on a trail once and the nut on his SPC UCA bolt came loose, it was making a crazy knocking sound whenever he turned the wheels. Tightened it back up and all was good

I had a buddy that put his bolt in the wrong way, backed out and severed some sort of electrical wire. Blew the alternator fuse and a couple others. That was fun to replace trailside.

    My shit is all stock.
Local dealer there in Vegas should be able to get you the parts overnight. Try Centennial Toyota.

    If you haven't ordered already...

Looks like Camburg uses a flat washer on either side of that bushing. Probably can find something that would work at a local hardware store. So ignore the "retainer" part number I posted above.

Ouch. I've had THE WORST experiences with lift shops. It's like I dropped my truck off at a 5th grader's recess playground and said "have at it." Glad you weren't on the highway and are ok.
