Fun seeing this thread and my truck in official social media advertising. Image below was the single 360 test from this thread.

Exactly what you said @crashnburn80 , it's a pretty cool feeling to be displayed in the advertisement.

2 new products tested and displayed in the same week from 2 different companies. This is a pretty cool week.

Diode Dynamics was great about giving me credit on their FB page and Instagram over the weekend.

Unfortunately no. And that pricing has ended. However, that stocking order should be here in a week (delayed again) and I can get you set up! Just shoot me a PM for details

Yes, there is a clip-on cover in the works to fill that gap. Shoot an email to our team, and they can get you a set when they are ready, I believe in early July.

Thanks Paul! Any reason why the videos are not searchable on youtube (link only)?

Nice videos! The data looks very comparable to my measurements and data posted in this thread.

The video is unlisted, meaning it is only viewable view direct link. Typically you post youtube videos but don't list them to test before switching it live, where it is then searchable and appears in your channels. Likely an oversight.

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere in thread but how do the SS3 Pro fogs hold up to cold? One of the appealing things about the Rigids is how hot they run as I mostly use fogs for winter snow storms. Any icing problems with the DDs?

The DD Pros are the highest operating temp fog in this thread, much hotter than the Rigid’s. See post #3076.

Thanks to this thread for showing me the right direction. A lot of useful info and finally installed these. Got me decided on the DD SS3 sport for fog lights, so I jumped in and went with them for the rest of the lights as well.

    Sport selective yellow Fog
    Sport white driving
    42inch white driving
30inch amber driving (pending install due to fitment issues w my bumper)

Really happy overall, no need to mention how good these pods light up the road and just wanted to pitch in with my humble review opinion.

A benefit of using a Diode Dynamics bar on the roof (vs some others) is the highly focused TIR optics will avoid stray light from reflecting off the hood causing hood glare, which is harmful for night vision.

I was hesitant at first because I didn’t see many reviews, but still went for it in part due to the high remarks of the SS3s here.

I chose the driving pattern because of what you mention. The output is outstanding and the glare is minimal compared to my previous lightbar (nilight, combo).

I won’t hijack this thread with unrelated stuff anymore so maybe I’ll post a video in another thread.

Thanks again for all the data collection and analysis.
