Morning. @ThaiChillyTaco you taking the boat out Sunday? We are gonna try and take a ride out to Kiawah if the weather is good. Anybody else hitting the water Sunday?

 

What’s the best high angle CV boot? Tried lowering the front but the fins still rub. Guess I’ll rebuild my OEM shafts for when these boots start leaking. Can anyone with 2-3” lift post pics of your CV angles? If I convert to manual hubs the CVs won’t spin while driving right?

 

Thanks Jamie. Might have to get the boot clamp tool and give the stretch a try. I’ll need the tool when I rebuild my OEM axles anyway

 

In other news- front yard adventure today. A squirrel fell out of a tree and died. The the vultures came- and ripped the spine out!

 

Well that's brutal. I don't think I've ever seen a squirrel fall out of a tree, but damn.

 

We'll be trying to get out, but the fam is staying on Seabrook for the weekend so who knows.

I have but the #6 shot may have had something to do with it. A fall is a fall right?

 

There is one that eats the bird food out of the feeders that I wouldn't mind sniping.

 

We think it fell off a limb, and hit the road. It had not been run over or anything. Before I could dispose of it, the vultures came. I had never seen anything like that before.

 

I've seen one fall out randomly. It just sat there looking around like an idiot until it ran off again. Pretty entertaining

 

I've come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a squirrel proof bird feeder.

 

Do it. What could go wrong?

I have a pellet pistol but ran out of Co2 cartridges, and my AR15 is missing the lower half. Wish I still had my mouser from the old house. She ate squirrels. She also ate birds, so there would have been no point in having bird feeders...

 

I have a 22LR bolt gun with suppressor for stuff like that.

got 3 skunks one day out in the yard. Opened the window in the room above the garage, folded down bipod legs, and sniped their asses when they were out in the field.

 

My wife hates anything that messes with birds. I could retire early but for bird seed. Dang freeloaders.
