I've not seen that handle! Good to know it works, though I never use the tilt with bikes on since I have the RakAttach.

The second one I've "solved" by just making sure the lever is perfectly parallel with the tray. If you hold it parallel, the arm will slide open without issue.

    not enough.
Oh nice! How's the RakAttach? minimal rattle? which size do you have and how much more does the rack protrude from the truck with it? very interesting idea. Was considering it for mine if I get sick of tilting down all the time.

yeah, i've used 1-ups without the ez-handle and just need to get it perfectly level. experience is a great teacher for that issue. :)

Literally the best bike gear decision I've made. Worth every penny of full price.

RakAttach is fantastic, and pretty much mandatory for me. It'd be a huge pain to get in/out of the camper without some sort of swing-out. It definitely adds a little bit of wobble, but they include an anti-wobble plate that works pretty well. I think it sticks out about 7 inches :)wink:) if memory serves, though once again that added space is pretty much mandatory on my setup...

edited to included a pic from this past weekend, down at Wholly Guacamole.

No issue. And you can still use the pad too, for a four pack.
I have mine less than an inch away from the bumper.
    Best rack, no question.

Been working on a full tear down, clean, ride wrap, regrease and rebuild of the bike. It happened slowly when I have time here and there. Did a brake bleed too because why not. And got some decals from Stikrd for the down tubes to add in a color other than gray. I threw it on my RockyMounts Monorail for comparison to the 1Up. I got the RockyMount on sale a while back, $180 shipped. Probably not as good as the 1Up, but can be had for cheaper and it sits a bit higher up.

Hoping to get some advice. I am a MTB novice for the most part and looking at getting into it more now. I currently own a Trek Cobia Gary Fisher 29er fro I want to say around 2010-2013 ish. Bike is like new, fresh service, new grips etc. with maybe 15-20 miles on it. I want to sell it and get a full suspension bike. I would be riding trails and all around stuff in the big bear, mammoth, socal type areas around my house in San Diego. First question is about what would my current bike price range be to sell? Second question is what kind of bike should I be looking at and is around $2k even a reasonable budget for a good used bike?

question 1, list it for 300, take 200-250. It’s an older bike, they don’t hold their value and being that old, it’s pretty outdated. You might not even get that much for it.

Question 2, if you are planning on doing bike parks, id suggest a bike with some travel. 140-160 ranges. For your price point, it’s going to be difficult. You can get a direct to consumer bike: YT, commencal, canyon, or the new one Propain for cheaper but you need to be able to put it together on your own, not much support there. And warranty issues do take a long time with those brands. These brands offer the best bang for your buck, but again, lack the support of brands found in bike shops. I’d recommend you go to your local shops and talk to them, and see if they have demos available. Trying bikes is really beneficial for finding what is comfortable to you.

edit: I bought a Transition frame down near you in Escondido. Good shop out there that can definitely help you out.

This gets me so stoked... shuttle laps with the 1up loaded + bikes on the pad + softopper in safari mode + fellas in the back

I've got the 2" Heavy Duty Double in the cart!

no problem. Used market is hit or miss. Demand is super high right now so a lot of used bikes are being sold at higher than normal prices. Summer time is also a time when prices go up, winter is the time to buy a cheap used bike, but if you check out pink bike, I’m sure there are deals to be had.

Much appreciated. I've been searching facebook marketplace. Is the Ibis Mojo any good? See a few on sale in my range.

Go Super Duty, because, why not? Extra support, less wiggle, can hold heavier bikes. Definitely get the handle.

Yeah, the buds in the back said they were comfortable. I threw in some camping chairs in the back for them too (pictured below). The Safari setup works great for that.
**The dude in the back is 6'4", and he barely fit under the softopper.

    not enough.
7 inches matters. Haha. That's real nice. Might be something to look into for my setup. Good to know!

Does Super Duty provide less wiggle? Both Heavy Duty and Super Duty have the same 2" receiver attachment, I would think they perform the same regarding movement.

And the blue handle only comes on the Quick Rack right?
