Seriously. Kind of a bummer it looks as though it’s not available until mid July.

Really couldn’t say. I don’t own anything Ryobi.

Several folks at work have that fan and seem to like it. Obviously that’s not directly answering your question though.

Is 18V lion 4.0 AH battery ok? I don’t know enough to know if that’ll be good enough for other tools

I don’t have that specific battery but I have some 3ah and I believe 1 ah. They do the job fine. I’ve had those 1ah for like 5+ years and they work fine still. The 4ah should do solid, especially considering it comes with 2.

Register your product. We have Ryobi tools and they've replaced two batteries when they quit charging within the warranty period.

alright @Bannerman I know you said it's not good to look too far out, and I know that...but the weather is consistently staying as "thunderstorms" for days up until and throughout next weekend.

I'm in no matter the weather if you guys are all still doing it, but at what point would you say postpone the trip?

We will keep an eye on it and maybe make a call on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm not so much worried about riding in the rain/storm as I am camping in the rain. I don't really enjoy that. I don't think the camp host will have a problem with us moving the date. If we do have to move it, I will put a Poll up so we can pick a date that works for the most people.

I agree with you, but I also think a heavy downpour would make the elevations even more dangerous for those like me riding blind..

I agree with most of what has already been said in regards to weather. Pisgah can be tough enough on a dry day.
Spent many FLA summers camping and suffering through the humidity and rain as a kid. No need to do it again.
Weather can change quite a bit between now and next weekend, for better hopefully!

I had already been thinking about suggesting to @Bannerman that he think about a fall trip in addition to this trip. REEB has some decent camping and trails that you don't even have to drive to.

I'd planned to make this a twice a year thing. PMBAR was moved from May to the last weekend of September this year so I was thinking I may try to do another weekend like this mid-September since I'll be ramping up my training anyway. October is nice too though.

I've already got the approved time off, hopefully this doesn't occur.....but if we do need to cancel/postpone the NC trip I'd be up for somewhere else semi-close like Bakers Creek. idk what every else's situations are..
