How do you know if you have the towing package? Its a 2016 off road, if you have the 7pin and 4 pin connector does that mean you have it?

4 and 7 pin connector is a good place to start, also would have factory installed receiver hitch and an additional transmission cooler in front of the radiator if it's an automatic.

I have a factory hitch. I see a cooler in front of the rad that appears to be going to the tranny, there is another cooler under that by the bottom of rad. I don't see a oil cooler but I'm not sure where to look. It is a auto v6. Don't know what to look for on the TSC

This is what I was told by the dealer (I said I wanted the tow package and he said that's standard and they couldn't get trucks without it). Maybe it being standard started later (I have a 2020) but at some point I believe what you say is true. On my 2014 I had to order it to get it.

Im not sure what year it became standard, I want to say 2018, but in 2016 it was optional.

I think that is correct - for my 2017 Sport it was an option but it is standard on TRDs now.

So short of not knowing about the TSC. What weight can it tow with the package?

that deepens on transmission and 4x2 vs. 4x4 and double or access cab. But should fall into the 6000-6800 range.

Have a read of the towing section in your owners manual.

Between the fan and the engine, mounted very low in the engine bay near the crank pulley.

If you don't have the window sticker which would list it, don't know where or how to look for the ancillary parts installed, just put your VIN in Toyota's website and it will tell you what it rolled out the door with.

A full factory tow package will 99.999% never be dealer installed. Because it's hard and would be very expensive to the customer.
