I took out what I didn’t need and extended it myself

This was when I installed it. Since then I moved the fuse next to the battery where it should be.

I only use it for air source. I don’t have air lockers

No. That was the regular harness for the single. I removed the stuff for the lockers and extended it

Used 10 or 8 gage wire and don’t forget to move the fuse!

Mine has stayed relatively clean with the top covered. I just plugged the rest of the holes with tape. I also added silicone around the frame for the door for the rainy season.

Hey guys, don't know how active this thread is but figured I would post here instead of starting a new one.
I'm trying to figure out the best route from the battery to the frame. I think I can run behind this heat shield for the exhaust, but don't want anything to end up getting pinched in the future. Any input on the best route?
    20190827_172850.jpg 20190827_173509.jpg 20190827_173530.jpg
Circled area is where I was going to run it up from under the truck, and the red line is the route I was planning to the battery.
I was just running it without zip tying anything yet to make sure this isn't a terrible idea.
Sounds like I should maybe move the fuse too? (This is the wiring harness from expedition essentials that they put together for the Viair 450h and their bedside mount btw)

Thats what I pretty much did. Haven't had problems so far. Just make sure you zip tie everything and make sure you add some shielding to the wires near the heat shield. Don't want to burn that up

Definitely not! What did you use for heat shielding and how did you attach it?

To be honest I made my own harness from wires I got from home depot. Added some heat shrink then put some fiberglass shielding that I got from work

Anyone find a way to relocate the power outlet in the bed of the truck from a late 2019 or 2020 so that you can use the EE mount?

That’s what I did too. Just tucked it up under the heat shield and reshaped the heat shield to keep the wires in place. I’ve had it installed for about a year now. I recently installed rear lights and ran the wires right next to the compressor wires, so I was able to inspect them. No problems!
