My mistake, it looks like the Tacoma uses a radiator design which has it's 'tanks' on the sides instead of the old-style top and bottom so the fittings/lines you're looking for should be on the side opposite where the Coolant filler is (on the driver's side). You can see a picture of what the radiator looks like if you go to Rockauto.com and search for a '20 Tacoma. I have a MT so obviously I don't have those lines and because of the fan shroud I couldn't see if my radiator has those fittings or not. I'm guessing it does but their capped.

That location in your picture is where the electric condenser fan is added by the TSB for poor A/C performance in hot weather. The power steering is an air cooler mounted in front of the condenser, center and low - the long black thing in your picture.

The V6 auto has a fluid warmer/cooler along with the thermostat mounted on the side of the transmission case, a cooler built into the engine coolant radiator, and an air cooler mounted in front of the condenser on the drivers side just below the horns.

The engine oil cooler is near the crank pulley, cube shaped, and cooled by engine coolant.

I read there are similar concerns with the Tundra. If you google it there are a few videos about it. I presume it’s the same case with the Tacoma.

My guess is a couple of pranksters somehow circumvented your cooler install at the factory to see if anyone would catch the mistake.

Dude chill, none of those stickers say ATF or trans cooler. They say Eng Oil Cooler and Pwr Steering Cooler.

I *think* his point is “Eng oil cooler” is In fact the trans cooler. There is no External eng oil cooler on Tacoma. Physically an eng oil cooler is the same thing as as a trans cooler, the only thing that changes is the plumbing.

You wouldn’t be able to see the trans cooler from the angle of this picture, so if there is something where your hand is on your friends truck, and he said that was the Factory trans cooler, Then he is wrong. You need to look on the RIGHT side and lower down for the factory trans cooler.

There actually is. Not 100% sure about 3rd gens, but on 2nd gens its part of the filter unit (right under the oil filter itself) and integrates with the coolant system from the t-stat housing area. I just learned all this a few weeks ago myself.

This quote from the other 3rd gen thread shows it. And I'd bet a cool 12 pack thats engine oil, not ATF:

If you’re confident that it’s missing call Toyota directly and open a case. You’re crazy to even try and deal with the dealership. Just read some of the horror stories on this forum. They will have no idea what to do and tell you it’s normal. If you insist on going there I’d request that the Toyota master technician examine it and then personally show you the findings while still in the repair bay.

Yep, if you've got a 2020 with V6, you should 100% have that. If not, I'd start at your dealership if you think they're worth a crap and figure out a way to contact Toyota directly as well. That's really crazy that that was missed on the production floor, if so.
