Any of y’all tow with this tune? Just curious if it’s reliable, safe, etc...? So far this is my favorite tune to drive with. I have driven with the 91 regular tune for the lat 6 months or so. Also does anyone know of a way to calibrate speedo for larger tires or is it not possible with these trucks? Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Google "Hypertech" to calibrate your speedo

I towed 5,000lbs with this tune on a 6MT to my local beach. It was a short 30 miles, but I didn't have any issues besides too high of a gearing with my 34ish inch tires. I don't think OVtune makes aggressive tunes for our trucks. You should be fine.

What size tires you running. I’m at 265/75/16’s now but thinking of going to 285’s.

I’ve got over 10,000 miles towing with my truck. I wouldn’t tow without ovtune. The extra power is definitely noticeable for me (6MT)

This may be a total newb question so forgive me. What’s 6MT? Also are you towing on performance tune or just regular 91octane tune?

6 speed manual transmission. I had to include the 6 because MT could also mean mud terrains tires. I'm on the 91 superfob tune, no performance mods.

285 75 17, If you plan on going 285/70/17, that might be the very very limit of stock gears in an automatic. The truck will be so slow in acceleration.

base regular. If I can find it, I’ll run 91 fuel or at least e0. My truck has always been on 87 tunes
