What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Rail mounted: the bracket interferes with the harness.

Bolt mounted: the tabs interfere with the harness. I suppose I could cut those off but even with a rough fitting, it's not that great as the extinguisher hangs out over the mat and gets kicked around.

Not to hijack the thread but what are other folks doing with their Element/Bracketeer mounts? Guess I'd better go chase down my wife and tell her I was only kidding about the divorce part...

1. stiff and light. Folds up naturally without any fumbling.
2. Super easy to put up and take down.

4. Super light. Easy to handle.
5. Perfect fit.

Seems like it's built to last. Time will tell.

Got Skewped. Body shop didnt order the grille piece so I have to go back Monday. They will do the clear bra and my hood graphics at that time too.

 

What kind of headlights are these?

 

I ended up mounting to the rail bolts like such (sorry for crappy pic):

It clears the plugs under the seat easily when all the way forward but also doesn't rip your heels up or interfere with removing the mat. I'm sure there are a dozen ways to do it, but this worked best for me.

 

Did the project pass the supervisor's approval?

That's a great suggestion. Would have saved me an hour of of sweeping, spraying, and scrubbing. Next time.....

Not at first, but once we got her plants in, she deemed it acceptable.

 

Drove from Saint Augustine, FL to Houston yesterday. The Taco was actually really comfortable, and I averaged just over 20 mpg.

Just retired from my job in Houston! I've been commuting monthly for the past two years while the wife retired in 2018 and handled the reno on our house in FL. Back in Houston to pick up my stuff.

Will be in Houston for a few days, and had some mods here. Installed my Pro grille today from The Taco Garage. Zero issues with the install, and no warning lights!

Also went through 24 pages of this thread from Sunday. Some of the projects guys tackle here are mind-blowing.
