Your harness looks like this correct? If so, which of the white connectors is not plugged in to your vehicle harness?

Those two white ones aren't connected to anything.

For steering wheel controls to work both C1 and C2 must be connected and the Canbus module must also be connected.

Additionally, is your anytime camera controller powered? That controller has a jumper harness that is inline with the steering wheel controls. They may not work if the front/rear camera controller is not powered. To test this, disconnect that controller jumper and put the vehicle wiring direct to the headunit wiring.

This was the problem. I connected to the controller to a 6V line and everything worked.

@svermilyea is the man on this one. I did something similar and make the holes longer and NOT wider. (Back to Front is what you need to adjust for the three holes)

I used this Dremel Tungsten bit to gently remove material and worked great. Use svermilyea's process and be patient. Once you have the back and forth material removed, its very easy. Once I did his process, the darn thing fit like a glove. #TeamOCD

Dang it! I had that in my cart, almost purchased and decided to go the cheap route. Dang it! Now its going to bother me.

Question - Does the OEM brackets fit the same? And, does it come with a plug-n-play CANBUS? I admit, I had to turn on 'loudness' on the PX6 unit to make the Reference Audio a little less muffled but I am ok now. CarPlay works fine but I know the Pioneer screams 'Quality'.

-The oem brackets did not line up. I bought another set for this install and used the template method noted above.
-The Maestro RR unit in the recommended install kit from Crutchfield is the Canbus interface. It work exactly as designed. There is even a new version (RR2) that gives you another selectable video input.
-The Px5 was better than Entune. The PX6 with its DSP was better than the PX5. The 6600 is super clean and powerful. When paired with the OEM Audio Plus ..... AWESOME!

Not to worry.....I will get bored and try something else eventually....."better is the enemy of good enough."

    Darn You! Such a tease!

If you can, post a pic of the bezel fitment. I have two people asking about my PX6 system so this may be an easy swap.

I got two bolts holding it in and don't care. It's not moving anywhere. Now I gotta find a launcher I like and set it all up.

Just put the Joying in the wife's car and used this launcher... it's growing on me. I'm liking this Dasaita and the stuff from XDA. The UI does have it's quirks but I had a Pioneer in my RSX with CarPlay that had it's quirks too so that's that...

Which one? I had that before had but have not went back and tested it with the current setup. I had at least one connector that I was not able to connect.

I tried this one for a while but got rid of it. Kept wanting to go back stock one to access some stuff.

You sir are a genius. Such a basic step but since mine worked out of the box didn’t know it had to connect to WiFi. Happy to say mine is back up and running. I just hope the ghost touching doesn’t come back.

so a couple things ive noticed so far..

    1. This thing is almost impossible to see in the daytime, its basically just a mirror for my left rear window. ( gonna need to try an antiglare film, although i think the brightness at 100% just isnt enough)
    2. whenever i reverse the back up cam comes up but then it doesnt shut off unless i press home. (also the cameras seem to have a lower quality, maybe its just the stretched image on a larger screen)
    3. I get little audio static when switching songs, this just started today.
    4. is there any other bluetooth player besides A2DP? I hate it doesnt autoplay when i get into the truck.

    1. I would not say mine is that bad but even with my stock radio I could see anything so this has been better. I do need the anti glare as with polarized sunglasses you cant see much.
    2. Likely this is the issue. You can always look into a different camera other then the stock one if it bothers you. Its def less res then the HU wants on the rear. I have not hooked up my front yet.
    3. Try checking your connections. No issue on my part.
    4. You can always download pretty much any android app to use for audio players. There are tons of them. I believe you can set one as a default in the HU similar to the preferred Nav app. I mainly use CarPlay fro audio.
