Just bought one of those two piece, foldable sunshades so I can store it in between the seats. I was thinking about buying one similar to yours, but wanted something that was able to be compactly stored.

It's been a little while since I've been on here and it's been a little while since I've done anything to my Taco, let alone driving it.

Well... Sometimes it's the little things that make me giggle.

 

Splice into the illumination wire of a switch next to it. That's what I did and it works perfectly.

Compact is nice but I tend to value ease of use above compactness. This one is easy peasy to deploy and retract. That's most important to me.

If your tailgate doubles as your workbench, I highly recommend it.

Only problem is I tried spray paint bed liner when I refinished it. Scratches away pretty easy with normal use. Either that stuff is bunk or I’m just bad at applying it. Or both. Probably both.
