Bottom open area in front of the 2 cup holders on the center console is where mine is mounted. I cut a hole behind it so I could seat it back far enough.

I think you used that area for switches? o_O

omg that picture you quoted is one of the few pics I have of that dog. She was very old when we adopted her, and she only lasted 2 years with us. She was such a sweety.

Sorry lol doesn’t do anything for me. They still make those every day. Maybe in 20 years after they’re a little more rare it’ll be different

Require mods? Not shitty street tires, Front & rear recovery points.
After that, it all depends how much you like your truck.

The First 5 times I went to Ardbeg in a 1989 4Runner, 5-spd, 4-cyl on 31” Duratracs, locked (mig welded) rear axle. Only ended up on a tow rope once or twice, completely high-centered.
Damage reports: twisted rear (tinfoil) bumper, failed brake master cylinder (on two different trips), broke a grease zerk off the driveshaft.
That 4Runner had 400,000km on it the first time I took it there, and I drove it home everytime.

Sliders and skids are awesome protection, but then you’ll be caught in the added weight vs extra lift to recover from weight vs beefier parts spiral till your head spins or VISA craps out.

I’ve had my Taco there once, just camping on the South shore of the first beach. Old duratracs were plenty good enough, but I was not out looking for trouble.

Gotcha not what I was thinking, that’s a lot of K’s man. I have had my truck for just over three months and I’m almost at 5000 miles!

Those NOT 37s make for awesome cruising RPMs eh.
Somewhere in the “almost street racing” section of the speedo, yet still in the “relatively quiet” section of the tach.

I would not recommend a new axial. They went down with quality A LOT

Been looking at reviews and yeah it does need some upgrades. Kind of like our trucks:rofl:
I love the look though and think it would a great rig to build on.
